Institute of Computer and Information Sciences was established at Czestochowa University of Technology in 2002. One of the first decisions of the Institute Council was to start a periodical which would allow to publish papers in English. The newly formed journal was entitled Computing, Multimedia and Intelligent Techniques. As the title suggests, the scope covers research interests of all computer scientists working in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as many scientists from another academic centres, including those who collaborate with employees of our faculty. We invite everyone to submit their latest results to be published in CMIT.
Topical scope of papers published in the journal will cover broadly understood computer calculations and simulations, multimedia and artificial intelligence techniques, including soft computing. Emphasis will be also placed on widely understood applied computer science. Moreover, this periodical aims at providing young scientists, particularly Ph.D. students, with means to publish their work.
Initially two issues are planned to be published within a year, with the goal to
make the journal a quarterly eventually. Generally, these issues are going to be multithematic.
However, occasional special thematic issues are also welcome.
We hope that this new periodical will gain your recognition and encourage you to
submit your own work for publication.
